I was raised in Las Vegas, NM, and though I have lived in other places, such as Los Angeles and Santa Fe, for almost 30 years, I have always promoted Las Vegas as a film location, both its history and its FUTURE. I now have over half a million YouTube views on my many videos, including excepts from the foundation-funded documentaries I’ve done, award-winning short films, etc., but the FIRST video I ever did was in 1992, about Las Vegas’ film history ( see ). This short won the First Place Award from the New Mexico Advertising Federation for public service films, and has been viewed over 21,000 times on YouTube!

But I’ve also written several scripts and proposed other VERY LOW BUDGET feature films that could be shot in Las Vegas. By low-budget I mean budgets as small as $15,000. Keep in mind that some films, like The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity, have made hundreds of millions of dollars on budgets of under $25,000!

I have been involved in feature films, indie films and shorts as an actor, director, writer, musician, crew member, etc., so have some familiarity with their production.

One of the films I am working on has contracted the star of the most memorable scene in the 2010 Oscar “Best Picture”, The Hurt Locker.  (see first video below) Links and ‘trailers” for some of these film ideas are below as well. I believe there are many film technicians, ACTORS and other personnel who could participate more fully in these locally-produced films, than the average Hollywood films that shoot here – but thank God for those films!
